Know Before You Go

  • Book Early: Yosemite Valley Lodge is incredibly popular, especially during peak seasons and events like Firefall. Reservations open a year and two days in advance, so plan ahead. Click here to book.

  • Park Reservations: Yosemite Valley Lodge guests are not required to obtain park reservations when Yosemite’s advanced reservation system is in place, such as during the busy summer months and during the Firefall event. However, lodge guests will still have to pay the park entrance fee if they don’t have an America the Beautiful Pass.

  • Hours of Operation: Dining, on-site amenities, and check-in/out times may vary depending on season. Check TravelYosemite.com for the most current information.

  • Park Conditions: Always visit the official NPS website for the most up-to-date road, weather, and trail conditions prior to your Yosemite trip.

  • Parking: On-site parking is available but can fill up quickly during busy times, so consider arriving early. Even if your room isn’t available yet for check-in, the front desk will provide a parking pass and will give you a call when your accommodations are ready for you.

  • EV Charging: Complimentary EV charging stations are available, making it a great choice for travelers with Teslas and other electric vehicles.

  • Bike Rentals: Explore Yosemite Valley on two wheels with convenient on-site bike rentals during the summer months. The valley’s designated bike paths keep you away from traffic and offer plenty of scenic stops.
