A Few Summer Favorites...
I’m so excited to be heading into Summer! I can’t wait for all the outdoor adventures I’m going to have. On my blog today, I thought I’d share a few of the things I’m loving and using heading into my Summer adventures…
Democracy Clothing
Nate and I love to go on weekend adventures all across the West Coast, so I need a great pair of jeans to be comfortable traveling, hiking, flying...you name it–I live in my jeans! One of my absolute favorite brands when it comes to denim is Democracy. I wear their jeans all the time…see Flowing Fabric, The Mountains are Calling & A New Year.
Democracy jeans are sooo comfy and they never ride up or slide down in the wrong places… If you know what I mean! These are not your super stiff, extra heavy denim jeans but if you want something very breathable that you can wear all day long these are my go to “ as comfy as yoga pants” jeans. I discovered Democracy Denim at Nordstrom Rack and now I order them on Amazon (I always size down). The price point is great and they wash and wear wonderfully.
Stetson Cross Creek
I love spending time outside in the Summer, but I’m very serious about protecting my face from too much sun. My dad has had some skin cancer scares, so I’m extra aware of the importance of sun protection (plus I just love a good hat 😂)! I grew up in Iowa listening to country music at the National Cattle Congress, and nothing makes me feel more at home than a classic Stetson. X-Pole A-Frame
For me, no Summer adventure is complete without a little aerial, lol! My go to travel rig is the X-Pole A-Frame. This rig sets up and tears down in under 10 minutes, and comes with its own carrying bag. I have multiple rigs for multiple reasons, but the X-Pole A-Frame fits easily into the back of my Prius and makes an appearance in most of my weekend road trip adventures. It’s easy to clean and can be used in many conditions. I have used mine in the snow, on the beach, in the rain, and on plenty of dirt roads over the past few years.
