When All the World is a Stage
I was a theatrical child, always putting on some sort of performance. My imagination was a great friend. I could see a castle under our kitchen table or a grand theatre filled with an adoring audience in the stuffed animals lining my bed.
For quite some time I've wanted to fly at the abandoned stable foundations that were used in movies and live shows decades ago in Corriganville Park Ranch.
There's something sweet about envisioning the history here and sharing in some small part of the stories that might have been told...I can imagine the performers putting on grand shows over half a century ago.
So I finally set up my rig and danced among the trees with a gentle breeze for an audience. I think one of the sweetest gifts God gave me is my vast imagination. I am grateful that I can see whimsy in the world around me.
What are you grateful for today?
